This listing is for a Brompton M3L C line equivalent in a sleek satin black finish. It is in excellent condition and fully functional, as expected from a lightly used leisure bike. It has been recently cleaned and checked over, ready to ride. This 2014 model features the latest alloy spider chain set with easily interchangeable chain ring sizes, unlike earlier models. It also has alloy dual pivot brakes with black alloy logo levers and the all-important frame latch kit, which holds the unfolded bike together when lifted. The only notable difference between this and the 2018 onwards model is the gear selector, which is more robust on pre-2018 models and is preferred by many, including myself on my own titanium Brompton.

The original Brompton reflective wall tires are in excellent condition with new-like tread and the center line still visible on the front tire. This one-owner bike has been stored indoors since purchase and only used in fair weather, so there are no signs of corrosion or tarnishing on the shiny metal nut/bolt heads, etc. The only visible cosmetic damage is mainly due to the folded pedal clashing with the frame during early days of folding/unfolding. These have been carefully touched up with satin black paint for protection and are less noticeable. One side of the front forks has some scratches, but it is unclear how they occurred and they are superficial. There are also some marks on the top of the rear mudguard from folding/unfolding on uneven surfaces. The foam grip on one side is slightly chewed from hitting the ground when folded on uneven surfaces.

Why spend over £1300 for a brand new C line equivalent model when you can get this one in excellent condition? It comes complete with a frame-mounted Brompton tire pump, frame-fitted Brompton luggage block, and reflectors all around. Cash on collection is available from either Crowborough TN6, or I can send this to UK mainland addresses for £35 in a folded, padded box. I can also meet at a train station if you are traveling one hour from central London.
