This rare, hardly used 2013 model Brompton S2L in special order satin black and white benefits from having the later specifications, including a spider chainset with a 46T chainring, black alloy logo brake levers, dual pivot brakes with cartridge pads, a twinwall oval wheelset, and Brompton 100 psi tyres. The bike remains standard, except for the upgraded alloy handlebars to a carbon fibre one, which is the exact same width as the original. This is a nice touch, along with the black edition mudguards.
The original glued-on foam grips had to be cut off, so a new pair of rubber grips have been fitted. The bike is in excellent condition throughout, with the exception of some small paint touch-ups on the unforgiving white parts, such as the stem, rear triangle, and forks. It is in perfect working order, as you would expect, having been fully checked over and adjusted where necessary, ready for the new owner.
Why spend well over £1300 RRP for a brand new C line Urban equivalent model? This Brompton comes complete with reflectors all around and an integral Ping Bell. Please take the time to zoom in and study all photos, as they form part of the description for this listing.
