To stop your bike gears from jumping, you should first check that your chain is properly lubricated and that the derailleur is properly adjusted. If the chain is dry or rusty, you should lubricate it with a bike-specific lubricant.
If the derailleur is out of alignment, you should adjust it so that it is parallel to the chainrings.
Additionally, you should check that the chain is the correct length and that the chainrings and cassette are in good condition.
If any of these components are worn or damaged, they should be replaced.
Finally, you should check that the shifter cables are properly tensioned and that the shifter is properly adjusted. If any of these components are not functioning properly, they should be replaced.
