Focus Bikes is a German bicycle manufacturer founded in 1992 by Mike Kluge, a former cyclocross world champion. The company began by producing high-quality cyclocross bikes and quickly gained a reputation for innovation and attention to detail.

Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, Focus Bikes expanded its product line to include road bikes, mountain bikes, and electric bikes. The company also continued to innovate and push the boundaries of bicycle design, introducing new technologies such as the Focus FSL carbon fiber frame and the Rapid Axle Technology (RAT) system, which allows for quick and easy wheel changes.

In 2007, Focus Bikes was acquired by the German company Derby Cycle, which also owns brands such as Kalkhoff and Raleigh. Under new ownership, the company continued to expand its product line and improve its designs, with a focus on high-performance and versatility.

Today, Focus Bikes offers a wide range of bicycles for riders of all levels and disciplines, from entry-level road bikes to high-end carbon fiber mountain bikes. The company is known for its commitment to innovation and sustainability, with a focus on using environmentally friendly materials and manufacturing processes. Focus Bikes is also a sponsor of professional cycling teams and athletes, including the AG2R La Mondiale Pro Cycling Team.
