The GT Jr Performer 18 Inch Kids BMX Bike in Purple/Grey is now available for pre-order and will be shipping in January 2025. This legendary model has been a staple in BMX for over 30 years and continues to impress with its 18" wheels. This bike is suitable for 7-12 year old riders or those who are approximately 4' to 4'10" in height. For smaller riders, we recommend checking out the 16" sister model, the Lil Performer.
The frame of the GT Jr Performer is made of 100% Hi-Ten Steel Tubes and features a DT Gusset, Mid BB, Seat Stay U-Brake, Integrated 1-1/8" H/T, and Removable Rotor Tabs. The fork is also made of 100% Hi-Ten Steel and has Tapered Legs and a 31mm Offset. The bike also features a KMC S1 chain, GT Power Series 3pc Chromoly 140mm cranks with a 19mm x 8T Spindle, and a GT NBS 25T Steel Chainwheel. The bottom bracket is sealed Mid 19mm and the pedals are GT Mini Platform.
The cog set is 9T 1pc. Driver and the rims are Alloy Single Wall with 20h. The tires are GT NBS 2.4" and the wheels size is 19. The front hub is Steel Loose Ball with a 3/8" Axle and the rear hub is Alloy Semi-Sealed with a 14mm Cassette. The spokes are made of Stainless Steel and are 14g. The bike also features NBS Alloy U-Brakes with Soft Compound Pads and a front caliper brake is included. The brake levers are NBS Mini Alloy.
