I am reluctantly selling my recently upgraded Orbea Occam. I have invested £1194 in new Fox 36s and a DHX2 coil rear shock with the SLS orange spring. Additionally, I have just received brand new XT crank arms under warranty as the original ones were starting to split. The longer travel has transformed this bike from a 140mm trail bike to a 150mm play bike that can handle any terrain. With my weight at 72kg, the rear shock spring is rated at 500lb and feels amazing now that it has been tuned for my weight. It can easily be changed with another spring if needed. Essentially, it is now an Occam LT with a more adjustable rear coil. The size is medium and the color is called mulberry. The frame has been protected with copter tape in all vital areas, so it is in incredible condition for its age. The wheelset is Mavic Crossmax XL S, which has been excellent on both steel city and old Wharney trails. The bike also features Carbon Raceface turbine bars paired with a bronze turbine stem. It is tubeless and has not had any punctures so far while using stans solution. The brakes and drivetrain are full XT, and I just replaced the chain last month. I will take some newer photos once I am home. As you can see from the receipts, I purchased this bike while working at JeJames Cycles, so the price reflects that after just spending over a thousand pounds on upgrades.
