The Specialized Roubaix is a high-end road bike equipped with Ultegra Di2 electronic shifting and a Roval 38 Carbon wheelset. It also features a 2nd Gen suspension stem. I purchased this bike in July 2020 and have only ridden it sparingly during semi-lockdown and the 2021 season. Originally intended as a summer/good weather bike, I found myself gravitating towards gravel riding and ended up buying another bike. As a result, this bike has only been ridden for a total of 1200km. I briefly rode it in 2023 and again in May 2024 to ensure everything was still in working order. It has been off the road for the past two seasons and is in excellent condition for its age. As shown in the photos, the drive train is very clean with no signs of wear on the chain. It has been well-maintained throughout its use.
This particular model of the Specialized Roubaix was the top spec before the S-Works models were introduced. It features carbon rims and a Di2 groupset, which is now equivalent to a bike that retails for £7,250. (https://www.sigmasports.com/item/Specialized/Roubaix-Expert-Disc-Road-Bike-2022/VZ49).
The bike has only suffered one minor fall and one scuff from the garage wall. The only damage in both incidents was superficial to the hoods and one lever, which can be seen in the pictures. This occurred early on in my ownership and the bike has been ridden without any issues since. The Roubaix is known for its comfortable ride, but this particular version has been aerodynamically optimized, making it a speedy bike as well. I have even managed to achieve a couple of KOMs (King of the Mountain) on it, despite not being a particularly fast rider. It can accommodate up to a 34mm tire, but a 32mm can easily be fitted and it can even be used for cyclo-cross if desired. The frame size is 54cm with a top tube length of 545mm, making it best suited for a rider between 5’7″ and 6′.
The bike will be sold without pedals and saddle, as most people prefer to use their own. However, I can include a basic saddle and flat pedals if desired. I will also include the matching bottle holders and bottles
