This Look 585 is a one-of-a-kind bike in a stunning Mondrian colorway. It is a size Medium, which is equivalent to a classic 54 size. The top tube measures 54cm from center to center, the seat tube is 49.5cm, and the headtube is 15cm. The wheelbase is 97.5cm.
The frame is a Look 585 lugged carbon frame and is in impeccable condition. It features a custom paint finish by 'Velofique' custom paint. The pictures do not do justice to the flawless paintwork, with no seams or rises at all. It is truly stunning.
The bike is equipped with a full Campagnolo Super Record 11-speed mechanical groupset, which is considered the best groupset ever made. The eagle-eyed will notice that the chainset is a Gen 1 (white lettering), while the rest of the groupset is Gen 2 (red). The crank arms have a few small rub marks, but the rest of the groupset is in incredible condition.
The wheelset is a Mavic Cosmic Carbone Ultimate tubular wheelset, weighing in at approximately 1100 grams. The Vittoria Corsa Control tubs are brand new and un-glued. The wheel surfaces are spotlessly clean, making these particular Cosmics the best condition ones ever seen.
The finishing kit is made up of FSA and Look carbon components, including the seatpost, bars, and stem. Please note that the saddle in the last photo, a Selle Italia SLR, is the one included with the bike.
This bike has not been ridden since it was built and has been kept indoors, so it is in pristine condition. It weighs just over 6kg. Originally, I had planned to use this as my 'France' bike and leave it there, but plans changed, and I still have my everyday 586. As a result, this bike remains unridden and almost seems too nice for the rough roads of the UK.
