Welcome to my auction of bikes, hi-fi, furniture, and other gear that I am selling from my collection. I recently did a clear out and these items are now surplus to my needs. The reasons for selling this particular item are that I need more space, the sale will help fund another project, and I no longer require it as it has hardly been used. This Enigma Tape Titanium road bike has a frame size of 54cm centre to top (57cm virtual centre to centre) and is suitable for someone between 5ft 10" and 6ft 3" or with an inside leg measurement of 31" to 35". It is a high-quality bike with a Sram Apex 10spd mechanical groupset and top components, including wheels. It has never been raced, crashed, or overused in wet conditions and was mainly used for commuting in good weather.
The frame is made of titanium with Enigma carbon forks and has a perfect mix of rigid and flexible profiles for optimal power transfer and comfort. The "curved" seat stays are designed to improve road shock. The frame is in excellent condition, with the exception of a scratch on the right-hand shifter. The headset is M black alloy with cartridge bearings.
The bike is equipped with a SRAM Apex 10spd groupset, including a SRAM Apex 34/50 chainset with 172.5 cranks, SRAM Apex brakes with alloy-specific brake blocks, a SRAM Apex front mech with clip-on clamp, and a SRAM Apex medium cage rear mech. The shifters are also SRAM Apex, with a minor scratch on the right-hand shifter from scraping against a wall.
The wheels are HOPE hoops with black hubs, stainless steel spokes, and Mavic Open Pro black alloy rims. They are 700c clinchers with smooth bearings and come with the original profile skewers. The tyres are nearly new 700x25c Continental Grand Prix 5000 AS TR (all-season tubeless ready) with red tubeless valves. The bike also comes with a SRAM 11-32 10spd cassette.
