The 2022 Bombtrack Hook EXT-C is now available for purchase. Please note that I only have one bike available, but eBay may display three items due to the three different build variations offered. The bike is a size medium and comes in a deep metallic green color that looks stunning in the sunlight. This bike is the ultimate choice for bikepacking, with compatibility for both 650B and 700 wheels, up to 2.1" tire clearance, mudguard mounts, triple mounts on the fork, dynamo routing, and top tube and down tube mounts. It has been ridden by endurance athlete Sofiane Sehili in numerous races over the past few years.
I initially had trouble deciding between a small and medium size, but ultimately chose the medium. However, in hindsight, I should have gone with the small as my inseam is only 30". As a result, I have only ridden the bike for 174 miles. While it was a joy to ride and extremely comfortable, I found it a bit too tall for my small legs, especially when loaded with bags. I used it for one weekend trip before realizing my mistake.
The bike is in like-new condition, with pristine paintwork. The photos should show this clearly. I have fully upgraded the bike to a SRAM AXS Mullet setup, with a GX Eagle Rear Mech and matching 10-52 tooth cassette. This provides all the gears you could hope for, along with the benefits of electronic shifting. If you prefer, I can offer the bike without the AXS groupset for £1295, and instead include the original SRAM Rival 1 groupset (see last photo). This includes Rival 1 shifters, a Rival 1 Long Cage Rear Derailleur, Rival 1 Hydraulic Calipers, and an 11-42 wide range cassette. I will also include a brand new jagwire gear cable and a new KMC X11 chain. The only thing you will need to add is a pair of brake hoses, as the originals were cut during removal due to internal routing.
Alternatively, I can offer the bike as a rolling frameset for £995. This would include the frame and forks, Hunt wheels and Maxxis tires, saddle, seatpost, handlebars, stem, bottom bracket, and cranks. You can then add a groupset of your choice.
