I purchased this bike as a frame and assembled it using mostly new components. The fork, chainset, bottom bracket, headset, shifter/brake levers, rear derailleur, chainring, chain, tyres, cables, handlebar, and tape were all brand new when installed. Despite the bike's smooth and comfortable ride, I am unable to find a comfortable position for longer rides due to previous back and shoulder injuries. I have only used the bike for a few months and have ridden less than 80 miles on it.
I have attempted to use a high-rise drop bar (as shown in the photos), but I will be switching back to the standard Cotic Valley drop handlebars, which are also included in the sale. This information is listed in the description below.
The bike features a medium-sized Cotic Cascade frame made of Reynolds 853 steel in Cosmic Black. It also has a Rockshox SID Ultimate 100mm fork, the latest generation SRAM Apex 1 x 12 brake/shift levers and rear derailleur, and a previously used low-mileage SRAM X01 10-50 cassette. The Truvativ Stylo crankset with a 36T chainring and Bike Yoke 160mm dropper post with a Crank Bros drop bar lever (previously used on another bike but regularly serviced and still functioning well) are also included. The Cotic Valley drop handlebar measures 46cm and the bike is equipped with a Cane Creek headset. The Stans Arch MK3 wheelset comes with tubeless Vittoria tyres.
