The 2019 Cannondale Scalpel Si Carbon 2 is a full suspension bike in size large with 100mm of travel and 29-inch wheels. This bike has undergone a complete strip down, inspection, and professional rebuild by Mapdec Cycles in Kendal. The entire process has been documented on their YouTube channel in a 3-part series, which we highly recommend watching before making a purchase. The following parts have been replaced with brand new ones: Fox 34 step cast forks with dual lockout, DT Swiss front hub, spokes, and nipples on the front wheel, Vittoria Barzo 2.35mm front tire, headset bearings, stem bolts, bottom bracket, all suspension pivot bearings, Cannondale carbon fiber suspension yoke, Cannondale seat clamp, 36T Unite chain ring, SRAM GX chain, SRAM GX cassette 10-50T, SRAM Reverb AXS dropper post, Shimano disc rotors (180mm front/160mm rear), and Shimano brake pads for both front and rear brakes. The Fox shock has also been completely stripped down, rebuilt, and serviced. The front and rear brakes have been fully re-bled. The bike has been set up tubeless with Muc-Off valves, tape, sealant, and Vittoria tire inserts. It also comes with the original AI chain-set, Shimano XT SPD pedals, Shimano XT spec disc brakes, Pro-Logo Dimension 143mm saddle, Cannondale bars and stem, and ODI lock-on grips. The bike is in excellent condition, almost like new, and is ready to ride. It has only been ridden for 15 miles since the rebuild, as a shake down ride. It will also come with the original Cannondale carbon seat post. The postage cost reflects fully insured specialist courier delivery, but this fee will be waived if you choose to pick up the bike in person.
