This electric bike is being sold on behalf of my father-in-law. He purchased it a few years ago and has only used it a handful of times. It is a Volt Infinity I Electric Bike with a Shimano Steps motor and electric gears.
The bike is in excellent condition and has only been ridden for a total of 83 miles. It originally cost over £2300 when purchased new. According to Cycling Weekly, it is one of the most advanced electric bikes on the market and it is proudly made in the UK. Some key features of this bike include a 23 inch (58.5cm) frame, variable suspension forks, a 250Wh battery, and a Shimano Steps System motor. The gearing is Shimano 8-speed with electric selection through a push-button. The brakes are hydraulic disc brakes on both the front and rear. The display and controls are back-lit LCD, making it easy to see and use. The wheels are 28 inches with alloy double-walled black AlexRims, which increase strength and reduce the chance of a puncture. The tires are 28 inches by 1.50 inches and are puncture-resistant Schwalpe Marathon tires (700 x 38) with a reflective strip. Some extras included with the bike are front and rear lights, front and rear mudguards, a rear carrier rack, and a kickstand.
