This Orbea Optima E-bike is up for sale. It was bought by my father in 2021 as a birthday gift for my mother. At the time, she was in the advanced stages of her battle with cancer and had lost her driving license due to the disease. She relied heavily on a bicycle to maintain some level of independence. As her strength started to decline, we thought an e-bike would be a great help for her. She used the bike throughout the summer of 2021 and it gave her the freedom she needed. Sadly, her health deteriorated further and she passed away in March 2022. Since then, the bike has been stored in the garage and has only been used occasionally to keep the battery charged and in working condition. My father has now asked me to sell it.

The bike is an Orbea Optima e-bike with a small frame in red. It is a fantastic bike with reliable Mahle German e-bike technology. Despite being listed as a small frame, it has plenty of adjustment and I have personally ridden it at 5ft11 without any issues. The bike is in excellent condition, having been used for only one summer and with less than 100 miles on the clock. Everything works perfectly. I have also added a whole roll of 3M bike protection tape to protect the paintwork from the very beginning. The only marks on the bike are a couple of small paint chips on the brake lever from when it fell over once.

The bike comes with automatic LED lights on both the front and rear, powered by the main battery. It also has full mudguards, a luggage rack, bell, and front and rear reflectors. The bike looks as good as new. All the manuals are included, as well as the original bill of sale (£1850). The battery charger is also included and is in working condition.
