This electric road bike is practically new, with a hub motor and battery located in the down tube. The battery is not removable, so the charger must be plugged into the connector near the bottom bracket. There are three assist modes - low, medium, and high - and the battery drains accordingly. The assist mode can be controlled by a button on the crossbar, which also indicates the battery charge level - 0-25%, 25-50%, 50-75%, or 75-100%. On the low setting, the bike has a range of about 60 miles, and I have only used it on hills. It is a great bike, and only upon close inspection can you tell that it is electric. It has 18 gears, carbon forks, and Mavic Ksyrium wheels. I purchased this bike because I had a heart condition, but it has since been resolved, so I no longer need the assist. I have only taken it out about 10 times in total. I picked it up from Ribble in September 2022.
