For sale is a Vitus Rapide CRX carbon fibre hardtail XC mountain bike. The frame, forks, and wheels are all used, approximately 5 years old, but have been well-maintained and are in great condition (please refer to the photos). However, the groupset (drivetrain and brakes), finishing kit, and tyres are all brand new and have not been used. This frameset has been a pleasure to ride, offering a lightweight, stiff, and responsive experience. It is perfect for XC, singletrack, or long rides. I am only selling it because I recently purchased the full suspension version of the same bike. The brand new groupset, finishing kit, and tyres were swapped from this bike, as I wanted to keep my older XT kit. The bike was professionally rebuilt by a local bike shop. I am just under 6 feet (180cm) tall and this large size frame fits me perfectly.
The frame is a Vitus Rapide CRX carbon fibre hardtail, used but in good condition. The forks are Fox 32Evolution Series with 100mm travel, also used. The drivetrain is a SRAM GX/NX 1x 12 speed, brand new. The brakes are SRAM DB8 hydraulic disc brakes, also brand new. The wheels are Kinesis Maxlight 29", used. The tyres are Maxxis Rekon Race, new. The saddle is a WTB, new. Pedals are not shown in the photos, but I can include a pair of new Neco flat bike pedals if needed.
As the frame is used, there are some cosmetic scratches on the paint. The forks and wheels also have a few scratches. The rear mech is brand new, but has some paint wear from transit. The headset top cap, although new, also has some slight paint wear. All of these imperfections are shown in the photos.
