Description

The 2017 Ghost Lector LC3 is a carbon fibre hardtail bike that is in excellent condition. Many of its parts are as good as new. The frame size on the paperwork is listed as Small, but it is actually the same size as my medium-sized Specialized hardtail. To give you a better idea of the size, I have included two photos. One shows a small frame adult Specialized bike in brown, and the other shows a medium frame Specialized bike in red.

The bike comes equipped with a Hope Pro 4 Tech XC 29er wheel set, which is non-boost. It also has Schwalbe Super Moto 2.35 inch tyres. Spare spokes, nipples, and end caps are included. The wheels are tubeless ready, but currently have inner tubes fitted as they are not tubeless compatible. The front wheel has a 15mm thru axle, while the rear has a 12mm axle.

The Shimano XT brake set with 160mm 6 bolt rotors provides reliable stopping power. The drivetrain is also Shimano XT, with a 2x11 setup and 36/26T chainrings. The cassette has an 11-42T range, but it could easily be converted to a 1x11 setup if desired.

The bike features a Rockshox Reba RL Solo air fork with 100mm of travel and a remote lockout. The handlebars have a 35mm diameter and are 740mm wide. The stem is a 60mm Raceface Aeffect, but the original 80mm stem is also included. The seat post has a diameter of 31.6mm, and the bike comes with an unused SDG Circuit saddle.

The stand over height of the bike is 727mm, and the seat tube angle is 73 degrees. The head tube angle is 69.5 degrees. The weight of the bike, as photographed, is 11.19kg.

This bike is not only great for racing, but it would also make an excellent commuter bike due to its light weight and speed. With a change to drop bars and brake/shifter levers, it could even be used as a gravel bike. It is in excellent condition and must be seen to be fully appreciated.
