This is a Specialized Crux Elite bike with a 2018 frame, although it could be a couple of years newer. I have owned this bike for approximately 2 years and it has served me well for 2 cyclocross seasons. However, I am in need of some cash, so I have decided to sell it.
This is a high-quality frame with good components, making it a great choice for those looking for a cyclocross weapon or a fast and lightweight gravel bike.
The specifications of this bike include a Fact 11R carbon frame, which is specialized's top-of-the-line carbon grade. It is lightweight, stiff, and fast. The frame size is 56 cm and it features a really cool paint job that always turns heads and receives compliments.
The groupset is a Sram Rival 1X hydrodisc, which is a decent set of components that work well. The gears are currently shifting smoothly, but may need a new cable soon. The bike is equipped with a 38T x 11T-34T gear ratio. The bottom bracket is a Praxis M30, which was replaced at the end of 2024 and still has plenty of life left in it. The crankset is a Praxis Zayante, BB30, and I have replaced the original 40T Praxis chainring with a Sram 38T chainring. I will include the original chainring with the bike.
The wheels are believed to be the stock specialized rims on Hope Pro4 Centre lock hubs. The rear hub was completely overhauled at the end of 2024 and the front wheel bearings were replaced at the end of 2023, so they are running smoothly and will last for a long time. The bike has a 12 mm Thru-axel and 142mm rear spacing. The tires are TerraPro Gripton 33 mm, which have some cracking on the walls but are still usable. They are currently set up tubeless. I also have a pair of Schwalbe G-one allroads 33 mm tires that I could sell with the bike. They have had very little use.
The saddle in the pictures will be removed and replaced with a Charge Plug saddle. The handlebar (40 cm) and seat post are S-Works.
