Description

This is a listing for our beloved family cargo bike, which we purchased new from Kids And Family Cycles shop in Southampton in September 2021. It has always been stored in a garage and regularly serviced at our local bike shop, Bike Shop Wales in Penarth. The last service was in June 2024. We have enjoyed using this bike very much, covering a total of 1,700 km since we bought it. Thanks to its powerful Yamaha motor, we have been able to transport our four kids to school, afternoon activities, shopping trips, and weekend adventures. However, now that our kids are able to cycle on their own, it's time for us to find a new family who can have fun with it.

The bike comes with a removable rain cover, a new sun cover, and cheerful red bench pads. The box also has safety belts for four kids. While Babboe has recently recalled some bikes, our model is not affected. However, they did offer us a full inspection at their local dealer, The Electric Bike Shop Cardiff, in September. The inspection did not identify any safety concerns, and we have the certificate available.

We are asking for £2850 or best offer. The bike can be collected from Sully in Penarth, or the buyer can arrange for a courier to pick it up. Now, for some technical details: the bike is equipped with a Yamaha mid-engine, 250W, and 70Nm torque (peak 80Nm). The battery is a 36V 400Wh, which still holds plenty of charge even after charging to 3/4. The gears are Enviolo Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) Hub gears, which require virtually no maintenance and allow for seamless gear shifting even at a standstill. This is especially useful for uphill starts and traffic lights. The bike also has hydraulic disc brakes on all wheels.

In terms of dimensions, the bike measures 215 cm long, 88.4 cm wide, and 110 cm high.
